Henry VIII, photographed by Kate Bones, represented one of the first steps towards the reintroduction of a more extensive use of color by Shakespeare’s Globe. Previously confined to a black, red, and white color palette, this production signaled a departure into richer and more vibrant hues.
During the summer of 2022, I proposed animated posters as a strategy to engage a rapidly expanding online audience, particularly in response to the severe impact of the pandemic on live theatre
The title treatment manipulates the 'HE' in Henry, emphasizing themes of masculinity while underscoring the central role of female power in Henry VIII's life.
